Good Day Clan Cameron

Good morning afternoon and evening fellow clan's men and women,

I hope that everyone has had a great summer. As we make the transition into fall I wanted to keep you up to date on some events that will be happening in the near future that I wish you all to keep in your mind and hopefully attend and join.

The Salado games are this weekend in Salado Texas; Mark Stellpfug, our treasure, and my family will be attending those games and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there!

The Highland Games of Louisiana, which happen on November 14-16, are soon upon us as well. Clan Cameron is the Honored Clan of these games. We would very much like to see as many Texan Cameron's as possible attend these games to fellowship with our Kith and Kin in the great state of Louisiana.

Finally in the month of November, in the North Texas area, there will be on the 22nd of November the Saint Andrews Dinner.

This dinner is a wonderful event to celebrate, not only with Cameron's but other clans, a night deep in Scottish Tradition.

November 22 is the date of this event starting at 5:30pm. I will in this e-mail add the information for that dinner.

RSVP is required and the date for the end of that is soon approaching. This is a family event please try to attend, bring your friends even. See information for this at the end of this message.

Finally as the year 2008 winds down, year 2009 is soon approaching and as such our Annual General Gathering. This will be happening in the Later Part of February with a firm date that will be posted in the very near future. Keep this Gathering in mind folks it is at this meeting that we will be electing new officers under the new by-law terms.

In Closing I would like to add that I personally know that each and everyone of us is dealing with our own lives and own circumstances. I would challenge all of you to keep the clan in the back of your mind and the events and gathering we are trying to plan as they are all for you, the Clan. Through sustaining each other and fellowship we can all share in our common bond as kinsman and show our children what it means to be 'of the Scot's'.

As always I am deeply humbled and happy to serve and look forward to seeing you all in the near future.
