Annual meeting results

May 1, 2009

Hello All!

We had a small turnout for the meeting, but here's the highlights:
1)A few things in the bylaws were tweaked, namely that officers now serve 2 years instead of 1. Hopefully we'll have a final copy posted on the site soon.
2) Liz Patton was elected president, Mark Stellpflug to treasurer again, and Randall Taylor to membership chair. We're still short a newsletter editor, secretary, and Vice President.
More to come, once the board gets settled out.

North Texas Irish Festival

March, 10, 2009

Hello All!

This past weekend was the North Texas Irish Festival in Dallas, TX. Two and a half days of lots of people, lots of music and lots of visitors to our clan tent. While not as busy as some of our other events, like the Texas Scottish Festival and the Salado games, we did manage to sell some T-shirts and bumper stickers we had tucked away in our clan merchandise stuff.

Salado Games

Nov 10, 2008

Good Evening All,

I am tired so I'll make this brief.

We had a wonderful time in Salado. The new location is very VERY beautiful. I have to say this game is most likely my favorite now.

We gained 3 new paid members Laurie Brandt + Family (Taylor) Ryan Kidder+Family (Cameron of Lochiel) Elaine Cameron (one of first member's from Salado group) and Eleanore L Stimson (Stronach -- one of the first members also from Salado)

Celtic Heritage Festival

Oct 12, 2008

The Bedford Celtic Heritage Festival was a smashing hit as far as getting Clan Cameron together. Most of the DFW area Camerons dropped by the tent to say hi to one of the tent sitters.
